Die japanische Science Fiction Serie “Space Battleship Yamato” handelt von eben diesem Raumschiff, dem die größten Schlachtschiffe der japanischen Flotte aus dem zweiten Weltkrieg als Vorlage diente. Das Papiermodell stammt wenig überraschend von einem Japaner und kann nur noch bis zum 28.11. heruntergeladen werden.

Die Japaner versuchen schon seit einigen Jahren, den Auswirkungen des demografischen Wandels mit Hilfe von Robotern entgegen zu treten. Dazu gibt die Dokumentation “Send in the Robots” einen kurzen Überblick. Unter anderem wird auch “Paro” vorgestellt, eine Babyrobbe, die älteren Menschen als Ansprechpartner dienen soll und zu Therapiezwecken als Ersatz für echte Tiere eingesetzt wird.

Paro wird aber nicht nur von “verrückten” Japanern genutzt, sondern inzwischen auch in Deutschland, wie man im Trailer zu “Mechnical Love” sehen kann, einer Roboter-Doku, die ich letzte Woche hier gepostet habe.
